Position: Senior Endpoint Engineer

OBJECTIVE: To maintain the reliability, integrity, and optimal performance of the organization's information systems that facilitate its operations. Key responsibilities encompass monitoring, supporting, and enhancing networked software and related operating systems, evaluating architecture, defining system specifications, establishing disaster recovery protocols, and assessing hardware/software compatibility.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Installs, upgrades, troubleshoots, and sustains computer systems for supported applications.
- Develops and executes preventative strategies for system issues and conducts root cause analysis.
- Automates the installation and configuration of applications in both development and production settings.
- Assesses new systems, investigates software options, and provides recommendations for system integration.
- Enhances engineering expertise through ongoing education and professional growth.
SUPERVISORY ROLE: This position does not have direct reports but may offer guidance to junior staff and lead cross-functional resources.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Certifications: Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Security Engineer Associate, Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.
Experience: At least 5 years in software, hardware, or systems engineering.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
Core Technical Skills:
- Proficient in the installation, deployment, and updating of applications for both physical and virtual endpoints.
- Hands-on experience in systems management utilizing Microsoft SCCM, InTune, and Active Directory/Azure Directory Services.
- Expertise in managing application layering technologies and securing desktop operating systems.
- Familiarity with PowerShell scripting, network technologies, and troubleshooting tools.
Additional Desired Skills:
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with clients.
- Robust troubleshooting skills and meticulous attention to detail.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Approximately 10% local travel only.
