Job Overview

ARFA Solutions, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior System Engineer to manage and maintain our infrastructure, ensuring its security, reliability, and performance. Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain our system infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system resources to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls to maintain a secure and compliant environment.
  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect system integrity and prevent potential threats.
  • Coordinate system upgrades and changes, ensuring minimal disruption and downtime, and providing timely communication to stakeholders.
  • Perform regular system backups and ensure effective disaster recovery procedures to minimize data loss and downtime.
  • Implement automation and scripting solutions to streamline administrative tasks and improve productivity.
  • Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for system enhancements to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members and end-users, ensuring seamless adoption and utilization of new technologies.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a System Administrator, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior role.
  • Proficiency in managing and maintaining Windows and Linux server environments.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
  • Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA) or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), are a plus.
