About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team at Providence Health & Service. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of plant equipment, building repairs, and preventative maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Perform building repairs and preventative maintenance activities to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless operations and high-quality patient care.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in a hospital setting, with a focus on facilities maintenance and repair.
  • On-the-job training and/or trade school education in a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in a technical trade, such as electrical, plumbing, or mechanical engineering.
  • Experience as an electrician, plumber, mechanic, carpenter, or painter.
