About Us

T. Marzetti Company, a leading manufacturer and marketer of specialty food products, is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team.

Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Analyst will play a critical role in maintaining the quality of our products, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving process improvements. This position requires a strong understanding of quality control principles, excellent analytical skills, and effective communication abilities.

Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze samples of ingredients, products, and packages to ensure compliance with established procedures
  • Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure consistency and identify areas for improvement
  • Document and report results accurately and in a timely manner
  • Label and maintain samples for retention and shelf life monitoring
  • Communicate non-compliant results to management and recommend corrective actions
  • Monitor plant operations for compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
  • Develop and implement process improvements to reduce waste, improve productivity, and enhance quality
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a science-related field (e.g., food science, chemistry, biology)
  • Basic science skills, including math, data collection, and computer data entry
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and make observations
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous quality assurance experience preferred
Working Conditions

This position requires working in a manufacturing environment with regular exposure to noise, chemicals, and physical demands. The successful candidate must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
