Responsibilities

As a Cardiac Cath Lab Director, you will be responsible for providing leadership and communication, monitoring the work environment, ensuring quality, managing the fiscal budget, and overseeing human resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate staff to assume leadership roles through role modeling and positive leadership skills.
  • Articulate departmental goals and objectives, enabling staff to actively participate in clinical decision-making.
  • Ensure a high-quality work environment by addressing departmental needs and providing necessary equipment and supplies.
  • Participate in quality programs and formulate corrective action plans for improvement.
  • Develop a multidisciplinary program to monitor quality patient care indicators.
  • Maintain a consistent top box score on customer service surveys.
  • Develop and review departmental budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and effective resource management.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Adjust staffing patterns according to unit activity and patient acuity.
  • Review fiscal worksheets and implement action plans to optimize resource allocation.
  • Develop and manage unit budgets for capital equipment priorities, ensuring alignment with patient needs and budget policy.
  • Identify major hospital cost savings and new revenue-producing opportunities.
  • Facilitate professional growth and development of staff.
  • Demonstrate accountability for human and material resource management.
  • Comply with personnel policies and procedures, ensuring job standards are understood by employees.
  • Evaluate orientation process effectiveness and employee progress during orientation.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll for multiple departments.
Qualifications

We are seeking a highly qualified candidate with:

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum of three (3) years leadership experience, or
  • Master's Degree, or
  • Minimum of five (3) years leadership experience in the discipline.

Additionally, candidates must have either an RN license or certification in a related imaging field.
