Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Technician to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest. As a key member of our cardiovascular services team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Registered Nurse in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures.
  • Function as a scrubbed member of the cath lab team, responsible for operating the table (x-ray) and ensuring the proper functioning of image review stations.
  • Perform post-processing manipulation of digital data to provide additional clinical information to physicians.
  • Participate in Code Blue situations and provide emergency care as needed.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in a related field or area, preferably in a cath lab setting.
  • Prior experience in a cath lab environment is highly desirable.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT and Radiology Technologist certification through the Texas Department of Health or RCIS certification.
  • Current BCLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • ACLS certification within 6 months of employment.
