Job Title: Night Auditor

The Night Auditor at MCR Hotels is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions during the overnight shift. This role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct nightly audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial transactions
  • Process and reconcile transactions, including cash, credit card, and other payments
  • Balance and reconcile hotel accounts, including room revenue, food and beverage, and other departments
  • Prepare and distribute daily reports, including the Night Audit report and other relevant financial information
  • Perform security walks and ensure the hotel's physical security and safety
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with other departments, including front desk, housekeeping, and food and beverage, to ensure seamless operations
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting, preferably in a night audit or front desk role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility
  • Basic math skills and proficiency in Windows operating systems, Company-approved spreadsheets, and word processing
