About the Role

This position is an essential part of Sherwin-Williams' distribution network. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods within our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately and efficiently pick orders to meet customer demands
  • Process, package, and ship orders with precision and attention to detail
  • Organize stocks and maintain inventory levels to optimize storage and minimize waste
  • Inspect products for defects and damages to ensure quality control
  • Examine incoming and outgoing shipments to verify accuracy and completeness
  • Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory items in a safe and organized manner
  • Operate robots and other equipment to facilitate effective warehouse operations
  • Coordinate site damage and re-pour areas to maintain a safe working environment
  • Abide by all company safety and quality expectations to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
  • Contribute ideas to improve or optimize warehousing procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity
  • Keep the warehouse clean and organized daily to maintain a safe and efficient working environment
Requirements
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications
  • Have at least one (1) year of experience working in a manufacturing or distribution facility
  • Have at least one (1) year of work experience operating mobile power equipment such as lift trucks, tow motors or pallet handling equipment, order pickers, high lifts, forklifts, or cherry pickers
  • Have at least one (1) year of work experience operating stationary power equipment such as palletizers, conveyors, hoists and stackers, mills or farm/construction equipment
  • Have at least one (1) year of work experience order picking and entering orders including data entry and scanning bar codes
  • Have at least one (1) year of experience working as a picker or packer in a warehouse or distribution center environment
