The Freight Cost Analyst will be tasked with evaluating market dynamics, negotiating transportation rates, and formulating pricing strategies to enhance cost efficiency and improve supply chain performance for our clients.

- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to assess transportation requirements.
- Establish strong relationships with freight carriers to ensure capacity availability for clients.
- Leverage transportation management systems and analytical tools to uncover cost-saving possibilities.
- Perform cost-benefit analyses to assess pricing strategies.
- Oversee carrier contracts and agreements to guarantee adherence to standards.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements to improve service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong analytical capabilities with expertise in data analysis tools.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software applications.
Standard office setting with moderate noise levels. Reasonable accommodations may be provided for individuals with disabilities.
Physical Effort
Maintain a stationary position, navigate the office, operate computers, and frequently engage in communication with others. The employee must be able to sit, talk, hear, stand, walk, and reach. Occasionally lift boxes weighing up to 20 pounds.
Scheduling
Full-time position, Monday - Friday, with occasional weekends and evenings required.
Travel
Local and limited out-of-state travel for training and conferences may be necessary.
