Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Consultant - Risk Management. As a key member of our consulting team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality consulting and project deliverables to our clients, while also developing and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver consulting and project deliverables to clients, including risk management and insurance claims services
  • Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, communicating about active work and deliverable progress
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, enabling us to become a trusted advisor for our clients' executives
  • Manage a high-performing team of professionals, mentoring and guiding team members in enhancing their consulting and project management skills
  • Perform and manage claim preparation and financial advisory services, as well as document review and analysis
  • Investigate and develop economic models, claim strategies, and causation/entitlement positions
  • Provide analysis and narratives for reports and deliverables, drafting reports and deliverables as needed
  • Lead in discrete areas of marketing, sales, and operations, taking ownership of discrete initiatives
  • Provide highly responsive and effective support to Directors in delivering client engagement objectives
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Construction Management, or other business or quantitative field
  • Five (5) or more years' experience in consulting or related industry field
  • Preferred professional accreditations: CPA, PE, PSP, CCA, CFE, EIT, CFF, etc.
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, effective communication, leadership technique, production or organizational methodologies, and coordination of people and resources
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft tools such as Excel, Access, PowerPoint
  • Proficiency with or aptitude to learn other technology platforms, such as P6, RS Means, MS Project, Xactimate, Relativity, among others
  • Organizational skills in managing multiple projects concurrently
  • Skill in talent management through motivating, developing, and directing employee work performance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build strategic relationships with others
  • Skill in analyzing and organizing technical data
  • Ability to travel 50% or more of the time
  • Foreign language skills preferred
