Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Invoice Processing: Accurately post accounts payable invoices and purchase orders, ensuring all necessary approvals are obtained and guidelines are followed.
  • Vendor Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile vendor statements and manage monthly batch payments.
  • Accounts Receivable Management: Dispatch monthly statements to clients and maintain precise records.
  • Manufacturer Invoicing: Post and reconcile all manufacturer invoices on a weekly basis.
  • Gas Ticket Management: Handle gas ticket postings and conduct monthly reconciliations.
  • Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and resolve any discrepancies that arise.
  • Record Maintenance: Keep accurate records for accounts payable, accounts receivable, sublet transactions, and various schedules.
  • Sales Tax Management: Maintain information related to sales tax exemptions.
  • 1099 Documentation: Record and maintain all relevant 1099 information.
  • Cross-Training: Participate in cross-training for various office duties.
  • Month-End Closing: Assist with tasks related to month-end closing as assigned.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other tasks and assignments as directed.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Possess a professional demeanor and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with CDK software is a plus.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a dealership setting is required.
  • Preferred experience includes 1 year in accounts payable and 1 year in accounting.
  • Willingness to undergo a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
