Ambulatory Pediatrics Nurse

Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care to all age populations in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individuals served.
- Independently assess, monitor, prioritize, coordinate and implement plan of care for patients.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, initial and ongoing.
- Initiates administer, and titrate both routine and complex medications.
- Performs education with patients about the plan of care.
- Delegates appropriate tasks to both LPN's and ULP's.
- Handles and administers hazardous medications.
- Completion of a nursing program as approved by the State Board of Nursing.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required.
- Applicable state RN license required.
- BLS required.
- Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and Universal Precautions protocol preferred.
The job requires constant standing, frequently walking, and bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory, and visual skills. Attention to detail and ability to write legibly. Ability to lift/push/pull 100 lbs. For any weight over 35 lbs., use Safe Handling Equipment.
