Job Title: Packaging Design Engineer III

TransPak is seeking a highly skilled Packaging Design Engineer III to lead our packaging development process and drive innovation in packaging solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Leadership and Requirement Gathering:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer packaging needs and technical requirements.
    • Translate customer requirements into actionable design criteria.
  • Advanced Design and Engineering:
    • Develop innovative and technically superior packaging designs using mechanical and packaging engineering knowledge.
    • Ensure packaging solutions meet stringent technical specifications and industry standards.
  • Drafting:
    • Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications for packaging solutions.
    • Oversee and review drafting within the design team.
  • Documentation and Presentation:
    • Prepare comprehensive documentation packages for packaging solutions.
    • Maintain detailed records of design iterations and changes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Packaging Engineer or Mechanical Engineer.
  • Profound knowledge of design and manufacturing criteria for various materials.
  • Proficiency in CAD software for drafting and design.
  • Exceptional understanding of cleanroom best practices and industry standards.
