About the Role

Tenet Massachusetts is seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team at one of our facilities in Massachusetts.

This is a full-time, ongoing position requiring 40 hours of work per week, with a shift of 8 hours in the evenings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide psychiatric care to adult, adolescent, and child patients, planning and implementing milieu treatment under the supervision of the Charge Nurse.
  • Collaborate with the nurse therapist to determine a milieu treatment approach and participate in milieu therapy for patients on an individual or group basis.
  • Lead or assist in milieu groups, incorporating knowledge of each patient's condition and application of various therapeutic techniques.
  • Collaborate with other unit staff in assessing and evaluating patient's mental status, initiating and maintaining a therapeutic relationship with patients.
  • Record all appropriate information on patient charts and prepare regular reports describing each patient's mental status and functioning.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in psychology or a related field preferred.
  • Bilingual preferred (Spanish/English).
  • BLS required.
