Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Quarry Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Allan Myers, Inc. As a Quarry Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing maintenance on quarry plants, including welding, repair, and fabrication of rock crushing equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance on quarry plants, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
  • Weld and fabricate metal components for rock crushing equipment.
  • Repair and replace damaged or worn-out parts on quarry equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and prevent equipment downtime.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance or a related field.
  • Welding certification preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
Work Environment

As a Quarry Maintenance Mechanic, you will work in a field setting, exposed to moderate to high noise levels, mechanical parts, and varying weather conditions. You will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
