Position: Python Software Engineer

Work Arrangement: Onsite 4 days a week

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Role Overview:

We are looking for a proficient and seasoned Python Software Engineer to contribute to our projects within the insurance and banking sectors. In this role, you will be instrumental in constructing and automating tools and pipelines that support machine learning initiatives. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire development lifecycle, from conceptualization to deployment, ensuring that the code produced is of high quality and integrates seamlessly with existing systems.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and maintainable code for machine learning utilities and pipelines.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver robust solutions.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance, scalability, and reliability of the software.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve our development processes.

Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in the Python programming language, emphasizing structured development practices.
  • Ability to work end-to-end on projects.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and experience implementing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proven track record of developing end-to-end solutions, from development to deployment.
  • Experience working with Git/Gitlab for version control and collaborative development.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Additional Skills:

  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Previous experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
