Electrophysiology Nurse Specialist

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Nurse Specialist to provide exceptional patient-centered care in our ambulatory care setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Triage phone calls from patients, families, and providers, responding to clinical-related communications as directed.
- Collaborate with attending physicians, mid-level practitioners, and administrative support staff to achieve optimal clinical outcomes.
- Conduct insurance prior authorization of diagnostic testing and procedures, ensuring seamless patient care.
- Track, collect, and review outpatient test results, reviewing abnormal results with supervising physicians and informing patients of test results and clinical impact.
- Assist with clinical instruction for patients, including medication teaching, and support administrative operations as a clinical liaison.
Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
- Ability to problem-solve, function as a resource to the team, and resolve complex issues on behalf of providers and patients.
- Exceptional organizational skills, flexibility to manage multiple tasks, and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of computer applications necessary to function in an ambulatory setting, including MS Outlook and MS Office Suite.
- Comfort in a practice environment that promotes patient-centered care.
