Responsibilities:

Sanitation Duties:

  • Ensures Store cleanliness and safety with urgency and prioritization
  • Collects trash and debris from outdoor areas surrounding the Store
  • Implements H-E-B's chemical safety program; organizes and maintains supplies in the maintenance area
  • Cleans windows and mirrors throughout the Store
  • Empties and cleans trash receptacles during shifts
  • Adheres to food safety and sanitation standards and procedures

Maintenance Responsibilities:

  • Communicates maintenance requirements, issues, or solutions to Store Leaders
  • Conducts minor repairs using basic hand tools
  • Maintains ceiling air vents and replaces light bulbs as needed

Customer Service Engagement:

  • Interacts with customers and addresses their needs
  • Assists customers in locating products
  • Performs Customer Service Assistant duties when required

Qualifications:

  • Minimum age requirement of 18
  • Completion of Company Orientation, Basics of Safety training, and Store orientation

  • Ability to take initiative and perform necessary tasks
  • Capacity to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
