Job Summary

The Security Officer II is a key member of the Safety and Security Department, responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment at the Resort. This role involves performing daily tasks to achieve the goals and objectives of the Department and the mission statement of the Resort.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards, unauthorized access, and trespassers.
  • Respond promptly to guest and associate calls, prioritizing emergency situations.
  • Proactively engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service and identify opportunities for WOW moments.
  • Maintain the security office and fire panel, ensuring all records and logs are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Draft incident reports and conduct daily audits to ensure compliance with security protocols.
  • Ensure all officers' daily shift logs and shift pass-down logs are complete and accurate.
  • Monitor CCTV cameras and maintain constant surveillance of the grounds.
  • Answer phones and dispatch calls in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct security office duties efficiently and effectively.
  • Provide associate safety training and report/resolve safety hazards throughout the Resort.
  • Respond to, communicate, and follow up on all incidents as they occur.
  • Have a thorough understanding of the Resort's activities and events each shift and provide a professional security presence.
  • Receive and communicate all information pertaining to your shift from the daily briefings.
Requirements
  • High school or equivalent education required.
  • At least 1 year of Montage Security experience.
  • CPR/First Aid certification.
Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to walk and give direction for most of the working day, with the ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours. The position also requires the ability to lift up to 15 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
