Job Summary

This part-time Certified Nursing Assistant position is located in our Continuing Care Center (CCC) at Thompson's LTC Facility in Canandaigua, NY. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to residents, assist with daily activities, and maintain a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Provide personal care, such as toileting, collecting specimens, and performing post-mortem care.
  • Assist with skincare and repositioning, including turning residents and using mechanical lifts.
  • Maintain an orderly and clean environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Complete required documentation, including intake/output forms and vital signs.
  • Interact with residents, families, and other staff members in a professional and respectful manner.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid NYS CNA Certification.
  • Ability to provide excellent age-appropriate care to residents.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle unpleasant sights and odors.
