The Cleaning and Maintenance Specialist is tasked with ensuring cleanliness and performing light maintenance duties as assigned by the Cleaning & Maintenance Manager. Ideal candidates should be oriented towards both customer service and task completion, demonstrating self-motivation, reliability, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment while prioritizing cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • $18 / hour
  • Perform manual cleaning and operate light commercial cleaning machinery
  • Follow the established cleaning protocol as per the store's cleaning matrix
  • Conduct light maintenance on store equipment
  • Adhere to safety and security protocols
  • Report any hazardous conditions to the General Manager
  • Carry out additional tasks as required or assigned
  • Ability to fulfill essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Position Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • This role typically involves an 8-hour shift, with a maximum of 40 hours per week. Flexibility for morning, evening, and overnight shifts is necessary, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
  • Capability to stand and walk for extended periods on hard and uneven surfaces
  • Repetitive motion involving hands, wrists, elbows, and shoulders
  • Proficient in operating all necessary equipment for store operations
  • Good vision and depth perception are essential
  • Ability to bend, carry, climb, push, pull, stoop, squat, twist, and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Climb ladders and work at heights
  • Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and maintenance procedures is required
  • Ability to work independently at a fast pace for extended shifts of 10 hours or more
  • Exposure to various outdoor conditions at all times of the day and year
