About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Product Manager to join our team at Illumina. As a key member of our Multiomic Assays Product Management team, you will be responsible for building and executing our single cell sample prep portfolio strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a multi-year product strategy for single cell sample prep, leveraging deep customer insights and market dynamics.
  • Partner with R&D to establish and execute on a long-term product roadmap, driven by customer needs and market understanding.
  • Drive business growth by influencing across functions to drive the NGS Systems business, overseeing market modeling, forecasting, S&OP process, development of business cases, pricing, and promotions.
  • Track and monitor business performance, reporting on key metrics and serving as a product expert and champion with key customers and partners.
  • Build close relationships with key customers, thought leaders, partners, and industry influencers to stay abreast of emerging market trends.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA or PhD a plus.
  • Must have industry experience in Product Marketing or Product Management.
  • Must have technical knowledge in single cell research field.
  • Must have strong analytical skills, with ability to tie detailed analysis to larger strategy and make data-driven decisions.
  • Must have demonstrated effective collaboration in matrixed or highly cross-functional business settings.

  • Estimated base salary range: $126,800 - $190,200.
