Reading Interventionist

Job Summary

The Clear Creek Independent School District is seeking a highly qualified Reading Interventionist - K-2 Teacher to join our team. As a Reading Interventionist - K-2 Teacher, you will play a critical role in guiding students towards fulfilling their potential in reading and literacy skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Instructional Leadership
  • Develop and implement reading intervention programs for students in grades K-2
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver instruction that meets the needs of all students
  • Conduct ongoing assessments of student learning and adjust instruction accordingly
• Student Support
  • Provide individualized support to students who require additional reading instruction
  • Work with students to develop reading skills and strategies
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instruction to meet the needs of all students
• Professional Development
  • Participate in professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills in reading instruction
  • Share expertise with colleagues to improve reading instruction across the district

Requirements

• Education
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• Certification/Licensure
  • Valid Texas teaching certificate with a reading specialist endorsement
• Experience
  • At least one year of experience teaching reading to students in grades K-2
