Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Elementary Education Teacher to join our team at West Contra Costa USD in Richmond. About the Job

This is a full-time position that requires a deep understanding of elementary education principles and practices. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching students in grades K-5 and developing engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with California state standards
  • Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic growth and social development
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians through regular progress reports and parent-teacher conferences
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field
  • Valid California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential
  • Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
