Position Overview:
As an Operations Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily functions of our facility, ensuring that our customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service while optimizing operational efficiency to maximize profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise the processes of mixing, loading, and dispatching products.
2. Oversee the management of facility assets, including routine maintenance and the planning for equipment replacement and inspections.
3. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and manage risk through regular site inspections and emergency response training.
4. Lead a selected team of operations personnel by providing clear job assignments, training, and ongoing coaching.
5. Maintain inventory levels to guarantee service with minimal delivery delays while achieving inventory turnover goals.
6. Assist in making informed crop protection and fertility recommendations utilizing various data resources and record-keeping systems.
7. Collaborate with management to establish and implement short-term objectives and budgets aligned with long-term growth strategies for the operation.
8. Communicate effectively with management and leverage additional resources to enhance profitability.
9. Support sales initiatives and manage tasks for designated accounts.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid Class A CDL with hazmat endorsement.
- Category 1A applicators license.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong team player with a commitment to contributing to a successful operation.
- Ability to solve problems effectively in the agricultural field.

Education and Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree in an agriculture-related field is preferred, or 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in agronomy.
- Familiarity with crop diagnostics, crop protection, seed, and fertility is essential.
