We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatrist to join our team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. As a member of our Consultation/Liaison Unit, you will provide psychiatric consultations to patients admitted to the emergency departments and inpatient services. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping us deliver high-quality care to our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide psychiatric consultations to patients and their families
- Develop and implement treatment plans to address patients' mental health needs
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Supervise residents, fellows, and medical students rotating on the Psychiatry Consultation/Liaison service
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
- Board eligibility or certification in Psychiatry
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of residency training in an accredited Psychiatry program
- License to practice medicine in the State of New York
