Recreational Therapist

SSM Health Physical Therapy is seeking a skilled Recreational Therapist to join our team in Arnold, MO. As a Recreational Therapist, you will play a vital role in planning and implementing recreational-based treatment programs for patients in Physical Therapy Rehabilitation.

• Plan and implement appropriate recreation activities for patients in accordance with guidelines set by the organization, hospital, and the profession.
• Provide therapeutic recreation intervention for an assigned caseload.
• Orient patients to recreation therapy and provide hospital-wide leisure, social, and divergent programs.
• Serve as an educator to patients on community resources.

• Bachelor's Degree in Therapeutic Recreation required.
• Current national certification from NCTRC as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) or eligible to take exam required.
