Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Prep Team Member to join our kitchen team at TGI Fridays. As a Prep Team Member, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our food meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare a wide variety of foods according to recipe requirements, adhering to product sensitivities and plate presentation guidelines.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Ensure that all prepared food meets TGI Fridays' food safety and quality standards.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition products on a timely basis and maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Keep the prep area, walk-ins, and freezers clean and sanitized throughout the shift.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with the management team and other kitchen staff to ensure seamless operations.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain equipment properly to ensure efficient food preparation.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that all prepared food meets our high standards.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to stand, move, and walk for extended periods, as well as bend and stoop frequently.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Must be able to lift and carry sacks and cases of up to 70 lbs., up to 20 times per shift.
  • Environmental Conditions: Must be able to work in a hot and damp environment, as well as occasionally in extreme cold temperatures in the walk-in freezer.
  • Communication Skills: Must be able to communicate effectively with the management team and other kitchen staff.
