Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

Atrium Health Levine Children's Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) team. As a RN Clinical Nurse I, you will provide exceptional patient care to critically ill children and their families, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities- Collect and analyze patient data to identify actual or potential diagnoses, problems, and issues.
- Develop and implement individualized plans to attain expected outcomes, coordinating care delivery and promoting a safe environment.
- Delegate elements of care to appropriate healthcare workers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Evaluate progress toward attainment of goals and outcomes, making adjustments as needed.
- Practice in a manner that is congruent with cultural diversity and inclusion principles, communicating effectively with patients and families.
- Collaborate with healthcare consumers and other key stakeholders to conduct nursing practice, leading within the professional practice setting and the profession.
- Integrate evidence and research findings into practice, contributing to quality nursing practice and evaluating one's own and others' nursing practice in relation to professional practice standards and guidelines.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, with a BSN preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support certification, as well as a current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state where you work and reside.
- Ability to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds, as well as speak English in good, understandable terms.
