Job Requirements:

Responsibilities:
- Assist surgeons during operations
- Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and instruments
- Ensure aseptic technique and maintain a safe operating environment
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care
Certification and Experience:
- BLS certification required
- 2 years of experience in surgical technology
Equipment and Instrumentation:
- Experience with scopes and fiber optic equipment
- Knowledge of instrument processing and assembly
Procedure Experience:
- ENT procedures: direct laryngoscopy, laparoscopic assisted cases, radical neck dissection, tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy, tracheostomy
- Endoscopic procedures: bronchoscopy, colonoscopy, EGD, laparoscopic assisted cases, peg tube placement/exchange
- General surgery: appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, hernia repair, laparoscopic assisted procedures, thyroidectomy
- Gynecology: abdominal hysterectomy, anterior/posterior repair, bilateral tubal ligation, dilation & curettage, laparoscopic assisted gynecological procedures
- Neurosurgery: anterior cervical fusion, craniotomy, laminectomy/discectomy, lumbar fusion, ALIF, XLIF, kyphoplasty
- Orthopedic: closed/open reduction of fractures, laminectomy/discectomy, laparoscopic assisted cases, spinal fusion, total knee replacement, total hip replacement
