Ultrasound Technician Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technician to join our team at Together Women's Health, LLC. As a per diem Ultrasound Technician, you will be responsible for acquiring high-quality ultrasound images that aid in medical diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greets patients courteously and ensures their needs are met
  • Reviews patient identification and verifies physician orders
  • Obtains patient cooperation by reducing anxieties and providing explanations of imaging procedures
  • Reviews images, makes initial observations, and documents exceptions from established protocols
  • Maximizes production and quality of ultrasounds by following established standards and procedures
  • Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment
  • Documents patient ultrasound services by completing patient record charting
  • Participates in process improvement activities within radiology practice
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a certified ultrasound program
  • ARDMS certified and in good standing
  • Extensive experience in OB/GYN
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with patients in a professional and caring manner
