Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks in assigned areas, including apartment homes, common areas, lounges, and offices.
- Laundry Services: Collect, clean, and redistribute community laundry, maintaining the commercial laundry in a clean and sanitary condition.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure cleaning equipment and materials are stored and locked when not in use, and report any needed repairs or supply and equipment needs to the Lead Housekeeper.
- Safety and Security: Ensure cords, carts, equipment, and other hazards are kept out of the way, not blocking exits, and in compliance with fire codes.
- Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Skills: Previous housekeeping experience preferred, ability to communicate effectively, read and interpret documents, and apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
- Personal Qualities: Ability to work flexible hours, handle multiple priorities, and perform tasks with frequent interruptions, competent in organizational and time management skills, and ability to work semi-independently without direct supervision.
