Waiter/Waitress (Full Time and Part Time)

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Waiter/Waitress to join our team at Morrison Living. As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, taking food and beverage orders, and delivering items to dining room guests in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room, take food and beverages in an efficient manner, and follow established steps of service.
- Deliver food promptly and professionally, maintain safe food handling and sanitation standards, and follow up periodically to assist with any additional needs or requests.
- Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients, advise guests on appropriate combinations of food and drinks when requested, and accommodate reasonable requests and notes preferences.
- Communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure that orders are delivered correctly and special requests are accommodated.
- Exhibit exceptional communications skills and demonstrate ability to get along well with others, remain flexible and patient when communicating with guests and staff.
- Collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures.
- Promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests.
- Maintain a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information that is shared.
- Promptly address complaints or issues and relay relevant information or complaints directly to supervisor.
- Ensure that the dining room is properly set up prior to and after the service period, keep the area clean and neat while meeting established sanitation standards.
- Operate a variety of equipment, including fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines.
- Work with staff of other departments to perform job duties during special events and functions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
