The Division of Nephrology and Hypertension at Stony Brook Medicine is seeking a dedicated full-time clinical faculty member specializing in outpatient nephrology.
Location: Stony Brook, New York
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive outpatient clinical nephrology services.
- Engage in teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Participate in inpatient care as needed.
Qualifications:
Required:
- MD or equivalent degree.
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine.
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Nephrology.
- Strong clinical background with the ability to manage both inpatient and outpatient care.
Preferred:
- Experience in educational program development.
- Background in critical care nephrology.
- Involvement in quality improvement and clinical research initiatives.
