Job Summary

The Stationary HVAC Technician II is a key member of our team, responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and installing HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical components/equipment. This role requires strong technical skills, effective communication, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Installation and commissioning of a wide variety of HVAC equipment
  • Maintenance of HVAC equipment, including atmospheric boilers, water-cooled chillers, energy recovery ventilators, and hydronic AHU & FCU systems
  • Establishing and maintaining clear communications with customers while on and off the job site
  • Assisting in maintaining inventory and tool procurement of individual service vehicles
  • Promoting and performing all aspects of Bernhard's safety procedures and policies
Requirements
  • 2-4 years of HVAC experience
  • Maintenance experience with chillers, boilers, pumps, AHU's, and other equipment
  • Ability to troubleshoot, possessing mechanical and diagnostic skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current Licensed Technician or verifiable experience in service of commercial HVAC & refrigeration systems
  • Holds an EPA Certification
  • OSHA 10 or 30 hour certification
Work Environment

This role requires working in a variety of environments, including tight and confined spaces, and may involve ascending and descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and/or poles. The physical demands of this role include moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks, remaining in a stationary position for prolonged periods, and operating machinery and/or power tools.

Pay Range

The pay range for this role is USD $43,000 - USD $58,100 per year.
