The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Design Quality Engineer to ensure our medical devices meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This position will play a critical role in developing solutions to diagnose, monitor, and manage heart failure, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will lead and/or support on-time completion of Design Control deliverables for new product development projects and design change projects. They will also establish objective, measurable, discrete, and verifiable customer and product requirements, as well as support design verification and validation planning & execution.

Skill Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technical Field and minimum 5 years of experience in medical device Quality Engineering, Research & Development, or Process / Manufacturing Engineering. You should have experience in test method development and validation, preparing risk assessments, FMEA, and other risk documents.

Benefits

As an employee of Abbott, you can expect a competitive salary of $95,000 - $178,500 per year, depending on your location. You will also receive excellent retirement savings plan with high employer contribution, tuition reimbursement, student debt program, and education benefit.
