Respiratory Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team at MultiCare Health System, Inc. This role requires a graduate of an AMA-approved Respiratory Therapy training program, certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), and licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) with the State of Washington.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver skilled respiratory care modalities and interventions to designated patient populations with cardiopulmonary system deficiencies and abnormalities.
- Perform independent, professional respiratory care, ventilator management, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and clinical evaluation of care.
- Establish therapy and treatment objectives, and review care based on the age and needs of the patient.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Respiratory Therapy training program.
- Certified (CRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
- Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) with the State of Washington.
- Registry eligibility notice to sit for RRT exam from NBRC required.
- Advanced cardiac life support credential required within 90 days of hire depending on age of the population served: ACLS, NRP, PALS.
- Health Care Provider level CPR certification.
- Minimum one (1) year of acute care experience in the field of respiratory therapy and critical care as CRT preferred.
