Key Responsibilities:

  • Greets and welcomes guests upon arrival, providing a friendly and courteous demeanor.
  • Answers telephone calls and takes reservations in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Manages the efficient and timely seating of guests to a table, providing menu and server information once seated.
  • Relays guest seating and information to servers and bus persons, ensuring seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Oversees dining room activity to ensure guest seating efficiency and a positive dining experience.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor during stressful and/or busy times.
  • Good verbal and nonverbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with guests and team members.
  • Ability to work under stress, with excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task throughout shifts.
  • Sound judgment and good problem-solving skills, with the ability to exercise discretion and make informed decisions.
  • Must be 17 years of age or older and eligible to work in the United States.
  • High School diploma or GED preferred, with an equivalent combination of education/experience considered.
