Job Title: Cardiac Care Nurse

At Swedish Edmonds Campus, we are seeking a skilled Cardiac Care Nurse to join our team. As a Cardiac Care Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients diagnosed with heart conditions, stroke, and other cardiac conditions.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care to critically ill patients, including those with heart attack, defibrillator or pacemaker implant, and other cardiac conditions.
  • Monitor cardiac and other critical vital signs and detect any changes, enabling intervention of life-threatening or emergency situations.
  • Initiate and revise patient care plans based on continuing assessments, including patient teaching and discharge planning.
  • Document nursing interventions and patient response according to hospital policy.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions and methods of implementation.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current licensure in good standing.
  • Minimum of one year of current hospital experience in PCU specialty.
  • Evidence of current BLS and ACLS required.
