We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced R&D Technician II to join our team at US Tech Solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of our compound management lab, working closely with senior staff members to facilitate tasks and ensure the smooth execution of lab needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the weekly compound processing, including preparation of powders and DMSO stock solutions from in-house chemists and local/international CRO/Collaborators.
- Work collaboratively for the shipment/receipt of compounds, including verification, processing, and storage of samples.
- Daily compound retrieval and distribution for assay screening and one-off requests from various researchers to ensure on-time delivery to support Discovery departments.
- Maintenance of compound inventory for short/long term storage.
- Keep lab stocked with necessary supplies and request purchase orders as needed.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of wet lab experience in either academia or industry.
- Ability to follow SOPs, pipetting, calculations, stocks, and solutions.
- General knowledge of overall drug development process relevant to pharmaceutical and/or biotech organizations.
- Compound repository and inventory and using automation tools.
- Proficiency in common computer applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Collaborative drive to work with peers, partners, and others, including individuals outside of the team and functional area, to develop important relationships with staff and key stakeholders.
- Results and detail-oriented; self-motivated.
