We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to become a part of our dynamic team as a Senior Credit Analyst. This remote role will play a crucial part in our Credit Operations team, focusing on supporting our lending initiatives by assessing and underwriting both new and renewed loans in alignment with our credit policies and sound financial practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough financial analysis for potential and existing loans.
  • Evaluate and assess the creditworthiness of applicants.
  • Prepare detailed loan approval documentation and identify any exceptions to policy.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management and credit committees.
  • Monitor the performance of the existing loan portfolio.
  • Maintain and update various loan-related databases.
  • Utilize analytical tools to generate comprehensive loan reports.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the due diligence process during audits and examinations.
  • Manage loan approval documentation templates.
  • Oversee the automatic approval process for consumer loans.
  • Handle ad hoc project requests from management.
  • Commit to principles of social, economic, environmental, and racial justice.
  • Adhere to established bank policies and regulations, ensuring compliance with all necessary training and reporting requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or a related field is required.
  • Experience with financial spreading software is preferred.
  • Prior experience in banking is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Adaptability to frequent changes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Frequent use of a computer, including typing and monitoring.
  • Occasional lifting of office materials up to 20 lbs.
