Job Summary

Sterling Infrastructure, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Pipe Foreman to join our team. As a Pipe Foreman, you will be responsible for supervising crews that install wet and dry utilities in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of pipe laying crews
  • Read and interpret blueprints to determine dimensions of structures
  • Lay out floor plans and determine the sequence of activities for fabrication, assembly, and erection of structures
  • Assign workers to tasks and inspect work performed by subordinates to ensure conformance with specifications
  • Study production schedules and estimate worker hour requirements for completion of job assignments
  • Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules and recommend measures to improve production methods and equipment performance
  • Analyze and resolve work problems and assist workers in solving work problems
  • Maintain time and production records and estimate, requisition, and inspect materials
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of supervising/crew leadership experience
  • A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in pipe laying
  • A minimum of 4-6 years of operating large heavy equipment experience in connection with pipe laying
  • Ability to work safely and lift 70 lbs or more
  • High School diploma/GED preferred
  • Flexible availability to include overtime and weekends
