As an Education Advisor, you will play a critical role in advising active-duty personnel on all programs available through voluntary off-duty education. Your expertise will be invaluable in providing guidance and support to our military members as they pursue their educational goals.

Responsibilities:

* Advise active-duty personnel on all programs available through voluntary off-duty education
* Provide guidance and support to military members as they pursue their educational goals
* Evaluate military training and course completions, review transcripts, and apply credit obtained
* Pull reports from the CCAF Online website to track progress and graduates
* Teach potential CCAF graduates how to use AFVEC features
* Instruct service members on how to use the Civilian Course Conversion Table and the Military Course Conversion Table
* Submit CCAF Action Requests and follow up with service members
* Document phone calls, emails, and conversations with service members in AFAEMS
* Retrieve CCAF graduation confirmation emails
* Assist with information regarding Air Force tuition assistance, Veteran Administration education benefits, and federal financial assistance programs
* Ensure courses taken for CCAF using military TA are needed for CCAF degree
* Assist incoming CCAF Instructors with requirements and enrollment
* Refer students to academic institution representatives for registration and enrollment
* Conduct briefings for ADAF/ADSF and other requestors
* Prepare correspondence and forms and maintain related records and logs

Requirements:

* Bachelor\u2019s degree from an accredited college or university
* Pass a background check
* Two years or more of experience in adult or military education academic advising
* Knowledge of or experience with Air Force terminology, office procedures, and education programs
* Familiarity with Outlook, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access
