The Role
We are looking for a highly qualified and empathetic Radiation Oncology Medical Physicist to contribute to our team of specialists. Our physicists utilize cutting-edge technology to offer a wide array of radiation oncology services, ensuring continuous professional development and a comprehensive skill set.

Facility Information:
This position is supported by a team of physicists, dosimetrists, and radiation oncologists, working in a well-equipped environment featuring advanced treatment technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine radiation measurements and annual calibrations on treatment units.
- Oversee the functionality and safety of equipment in the Radiation Oncology Department.
- Maintain comprehensive records and reports for regulatory compliance.
- Evaluate alternative treatment plans and supervise dosimetry planning.
- Implement assessments and treatments tailored to patient developmental stages.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree or PhD in Medical Physics.
- Board certification by the American Board of Radiology in Therapeutic Medical Physics or eligibility through a CAMPEP accredited residency.
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in Therapy Medical Physics is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interpret and apply regulations effectively.
- A proactive approach to client and colleague support.
- Demonstrated initiative and organizational skills.
- Problem-solving capabilities with a focus on practical solutions.
Physical Requirements:
- Capability to operate and transport equipment.
- Involves various physical activities including sitting, standing, walking, lifting, and carrying.
- Exposure to radiation and other conditions typical in a radiation therapy environment.
- Flexibility for occasional evening or weekend work.
