Position Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for residents. This position involves direct interaction with clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being while upholding the standards of Renaissance Realty Group Inc.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Customer Engagement: Greet residents warmly, assess their needs accurately, and ensure satisfaction with all services provided.

  3. Medication Management: Remind residents about their medications and document compliance as per the assigned schedules.
  4. Meal Support: Assist in meal service and preparation, promoting healthy eating habits and ensuring nutritional needs are met.
  5. Housekeeping Duties: Maintain cleanliness in resident living spaces and assist with laundry as per established guidelines.
  6. Resident Monitoring: Conduct regular checks on residents during meal times and assist in dining services.

Documentation and Reporting

  1. Maintain accurate records of resident care, including vital signs and any changes in health status.
  2. Communicate effectively with the wellness team regarding any observed changes in residents’ conditions.

Activity Coordination

  1. Plan and facilitate engaging activities tailored to the interests and needs of residents.
  2. Collaborate with the Life Enrichment Director to enhance residents' quality of life through meaningful interactions.

Health and Safety Compliance

  1. Adhere to all infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for residents and staff.
  2. Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on best practices in resident care.

Qualifications

  1. Completion of a certified nursing assistant program and registration on the relevant state registry.
  2. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with residents and team members.
  3. Ability to document care accurately and follow care plans diligently.
  4. Empathy and compassion in dealing with the elderly population.
  5. Physical capability to perform the essential functions of the role, including lifting and assisting residents.
