Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Morris Midwest is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all machine tool equipment and controls for our customer organizations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Travel to customer sites to perform maintenance and repair tasks
  • Utilize machine tool manuals, technical documents, and internal resources to research and resolve machine issues
  • Ensure proper documentation is completed and submitted to the office and customer regarding the status of machine issues, repairs, and installations
  • Promote and perform preventative maintenance on customer machine tool equipment and provide after-sales technical support and training
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of machine tool industry and product lines represented by the company
Requirements:
  • Five years' experience with CNC machine repair
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and other business programs as required
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics
  • Excellent technical, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job, including flexible hours and frequent travel and driving throughout a regional territory
