We're a community-driven company that owns and operates 16 unique climbing gyms across California. Our mission is to provide a welcoming environment for climbers of all levels, from beginners to experienced athletes.

Job Summary

We're seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Staff member to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our gyms. This is a full-time position, working at least 30 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming gym and climbing area floors.
  • Clean and disinfect gym equipment, machines, and weights to maintain a high level of hygiene.
  • Clean and sanitize locker rooms, showers, and restrooms, replenishing supplies as needed.
  • Empty trash receptacles regularly and ensure proper disposal of waste materials.
  • Wipe and sanitize surfaces, including windows, mirrors, and countertops.
  • Dust and clean surfaces in common areas, including reception desks and waiting areas.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to the supervisor.
  • Respond to immediate cleaning needs and spillages to prevent accidents or injuries.
Requirements
  • Ability to operate and use janitorial tools, equipment, and supplies.
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and dedication to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with varying temperatures and humidity levels. You'll be required to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods, and may be exposed to cleaning chemicals and other hazardous materials.
