Job Summary

John Galt Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team. As an Information System Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our organization's information systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular security risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential threats and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the secure operation and maintenance of information systems.
  • Develop and maintain System Security Plans (SSPs) and associated artifacts, including the Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M) and Risk Assessment Report.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to stakeholders on security-related matters.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies to ensure the organization's security posture remains current and effective.
Requirements
  • BS degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Security+ certification (or equivalent) and active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
