Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Dental Hygiene Specialist to join our team at Clear Lakes Dental. As a key member of our oral health team, you will be responsible for conducting thorough patient assessments, providing personalized care, and executing comprehensive teeth cleanings.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct initial patient assessments, including examination of teeth, bone, and periodontal tissues.
- Provide counsel on oral health and preventive measures, educating patients on good oral hygiene techniques.
- Execute comprehensive teeth cleanings, including removal of hard and soft deposits, and application of cavity-prevention treatments.
- Assist dentists in managing medical and dental emergencies, and administer anesthetics to patients as needed.
- Collaborate with the dental team to develop personalized treatment plans, and maintain accurate patient records.
**Requirements:**
- Certification or Degree from an accredited Dental Hygiene program.
- MN Dental Hygienist License.
- 1-2 years of experience working in a dental practice, with a proven track record of providing high-quality care.
- Strong working knowledge of dental terminology, equipment, and practices.
- CPR certified, with excellent communication and people skills.
