Position Overview:
We are currently in search of a Senior Financial Consultant to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to our operations and will be conducted on-site.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough analyses of customer requirements and develop actionable plans for operational and contingency support.
  • Oversee budget execution and negotiate program requirements within an enterprise-level organization.
  • Integrate financial management with performance objectives, ensuring alignment with business plans.
  • Direct the activities of a business management unit, making key decisions regarding staff career management.
  • Leverage extensive experience in Navy financial analysis.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to evolving circumstances.
  • Acquire and apply knowledge of DoD/Navy financial processes and programs.
  • Utilize project work schedules and cost management strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with senior government officials.
  • Work independently while managing financial funding documents and Statements of Work (SOWs).
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of financial metrics and measures of effectiveness.
  • Prepare Program Objectives Memorandum (POM) briefs.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

General Experience:
Candidates should possess a strong background in data analysis, program strategy recommendations, and financial budgeting coordination. Key qualifications include:

  • Expertise in budget functions, including the interpretation and application of budgetary principles.
  • Advisory experience to senior leadership on operational efficiency and economy.
  • Ability to interpret guidelines during the annual budget cycles.
  • Technical expertise in budgetary data management.
  • Experience in formulating and justifying budget requests based on historical costs and current execution.
  • Oversight of budgetary operations and special studies.
  • Leadership in business and financial efforts throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Provision of technical direction to financial team members.

Specialized Experience:
Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years of finance and budgeting experience, with a comprehensive understanding of the Programming phase of the Program, Planning, Budget, and Execution (PPBE) process. Proficiency in N-ERP is essential.
